Solution
Conducted a gap analysis, examining the current data trends and leadership skills and education. Provided a individualized plan for each leader and the recommendations for job description changes and a progressive plan for the current employees to increase their skill and abilities.
Result
Each leader did complete the plan and new leaders hired had different expectations of education level and quality experiences. This created a higher overall quality rating, improved standards, and the hosptial was eventually merged with a well respected system.
Create a solution for emr documentation and improved patient transitions

Improve the communications of patient progression and transitions and decrease the length of stay.
Solution
Conducted a gap analysis, created a strategy for solution with several key stakeholders including the physician leadership and IT experts. Partnered in implementation and operationalization. This resulted in improved satisfaction of the staff, vendors, partners, and patients. Length of stay was reduced and the placement tendencies were altered to be more patient centric.
Result
The new EMR system was designed and implemented. This improved communication and patient flow. Additionally, several key elements in patient transitions were created and implemented that resulted in improved patient care standards and progression, as well as safety improvements.
Create a solution for disconnected services for the statewide organizational influence
A previous analysis was done but, the leaders were unable to create a solution. We created the research based solution and partnered in operationalizing it.

Take the results of the previous analysis of inefficiencies, lack of service, and lost revenue and create a plan.
Solution
Reviewed the gap analysis and other materials previously done that had not resulted in a plan, met with stakeholders to determine the objectives, provided research into the market comparisons, and created a strategy for the organization in a 3 phased approach.
Result
Partnered in implementing the first 2 phases of the plan. The revenue capture was over 1 million in the first year for the first phase with a 5 million projected savings in the following year. Services were aligned and increased in offering to patients. The plan for the 3rd phase was tabled by the organization due to other demands but, recommended implementation by another business analysis subsequently.
